Knelson-Deswik VGM Technology Gains Market Acceptance
On June 30th, 2011 Knelson Milling Solutions (KMS) dispatched a KD-VGM2500 representing their third mill shipment of 2011 putting them well ahead of the forecast for the year. “We’ve just hit the halfway point of 2011 and we’ve already exceeded our expectations in terms of mill orders” stated Ian Lawler; KMS Managing Director.
The most recent shipment is destined for a tailings re-treatment project in Zimbabwe. It follows the shipment in March of a KD-VGM500 mill that is currently being installed at a chromite plant in South Africa and a KD-VGM10 pilot plant destined for the University of British Columbia.
“We are delighted with how the market has responded since we announced our joint venture with Knelson last year. The combination of the Knelson global sales network and manufacturing capabilities and the unique features of the Knelson-Deswik mill have really helped us gain rapid market acceptance” added Lawler.
Knelson Milling Solutions (KMS) provides complete design and manufacturing services for vertical fine grinding technology. The Knelson-Deswik Vertical Grinding Mill is used to grind feed material of up to 400µm (p80) to a target particle size as fine as 10 micron.
