TORONTO, Canada; Pacific Gold Corp., (OTCBB: PCFG) announced the recent purchase a new Knelson XD48 centrifugal concentrator for the Black Rock Canyon Mine near Crescent Valley, Nevada.
The new concentrator is scheduled for delivery at the end of August 2005. The Knelson will be the primary recovery unit for fine gold from the Black Rock Canyon Mine. The XD48 has a rated capacity of up to 300 tons per hour and should provide maximum recovery of the fine gold from the mined gravels. This is the third Knelson Concentrator over the past 2 years which include a KC-XD30 and a KC-MD7.5 Prospection Trailer.In 2004, Pacific realized gold recovery in excess of 99% with the KC-XD30 recovery at its placer gold project in Oregon, USA.
In addition, the Company announced the purchase of a 10,000 gallon fuel tank and a 1,000 gallon fuel trailer. These units will work in tandem to store and supply fuel at the mine and to handle the daily refueling requirements of the heavy earth moving equipment that will operate within the mine site.
The Black Rock Canyon Mine is operated by Pacific Gold’s subsidiary Nevada Rae Gold. The Company began pre-production in April, and expects to have the Mine in production during the fourth quarter of 2005.
