Semi-Continuous (Batch) Knelson Concentrator (KC)
The Knelson batch concentrator is widely considered to be the most technologically advanced gravity recovery batch system available today. It replaces all conventional gravity recovery equipment such as sluices, jigs, cones and spirals.

The concentrator is commonly applied as a primary recovery device in precious metal milling circuits and alluvial treatment plants.

The batch model Knelson Concentrator operates on two basic principles; enhanced gravitational force and a patented material fluidization process.

Continuous Variable Discharge Knelson Concentrator (CVD)
The Knelson Continuous Variable Discharge concentrator (CVD) was developed to address the limited mass yield of the batch concentrator.

It's engineered for applications that require enhanced gravity separation for the continuous processing of ores with a relatively high content of target mineral. It uses similar principles of mineral separation and recovery to that of the batch concentrator, but allows the concentrate to be extracted from the fluidized bed on a continuous basis.

The CVD concentrator is commonly applied as a recovery device in applications such as chromite, cassiterite, iron ore, silver, native copper, gold sulphides, and tantalite.

ConSep ACACIA Reactor

The ConSep ACACIA Reactor is a patented, high efficiency leaching system, exclusively designed to handle the high-grade concentrates produced by Knelson Concentrators.

The system is designed to maximize gold recovery from gravity concentrates and provide numerous process advantages over a conventional gold room.

"Emgold has been very pleased with the testwork completed to date on the Idaho-Maryland tailings and waste material. We are looking forward to conducting more tests soon with samples from our current 4,000 to 5,000 foot diamond drill program. We are planning on eventually developing the Idaho-Maryland Mine into a 400,000 oz. per year gold producer with some help from Knelson." - Bill Witte, President & CEO - Emgold Mining Corporation ...more > >
