The rotor assembly is a key component in every Knelson Concentrator. It consists of the concentrate cone, rotor housing and shaft with bearings. Some models will include additional components such as the concentrate launder.

Under typical conditions, a properly maintained rotor will provide 30,000 to 40,000 hours of service life prior to requiring a major overhaul. However, this is not always the case in some situations since every operation is different. Some operations have extreme conditions, lack of proper maintenance and other un-foreseen variables that diminish the life expectancy of the Knelson and rotor assembly. In the case where the rotor assembly requires repair, an alternative is available; the Knelson rotor exchange program.

The advantage of this program is to provide Knelson customers with a next-to-new quality rotor assembly at a reduced cost.

How The Program Works

1. Place an order (or quote) for an "exchange" rotor assembly through the online form.
2. The parts and service department will contact you with additional details as required
3. Knelson will ship a fully refurbished rotor from their inventory
4. Upon receipt of the refurbished rotor, simply "exchange" the re-furbished rotor with your existing rotor
5. Send the old rotor back to Knelson to credit the core value to your account
