KRTC has facilities to batch grind samples ranging in size from 1kg to 10kg per grind.

Custom grinding is performed using a lab scale rod mill. If a specific grind size is desired an extra sample should be included so that a grind test can be performed.

Samples sent for milling should be crushed to less than 3mm. This top size is variable depending on ore hardness.
