KRTC provides a range of testing options for alluvial gold samples. Alluvial samples will generally be tested using a 2-pass batch test. These tests will not involve any grinding.
KRTC recommends a minimum sample size of 50kg in order to reduce the difficulties of getting a representative alluvial gold sample. Samples must be 100% minus 1.7mm (10 mesh). Samples that do not meet this size requirement take longer to complete and will require special pricing.
The following guidelines will be used to select the appropriate concentrator for certain sample sizes.
