Knelson Research and Technology Center (KRTC) focusses on the customer's needs by providing objective results that enable confident, informed metallurgical project decisions.

Founded in 1998, KRTC has established pilot gravity evaluation facilities for sample testing throughout the world. These facilities are known as G-TEC's (Gravity Technology Evaluation Centre).

Several G-TEC's have been strategically placed with Knelson representatives in major mining markets worldwide. Knelson Concentrators has undertaken an aggressive plan that will see the establishment of six new gravity technology evaluation centres by the end of 2001. These will be strategically located in N. America, S. America, Europe, Southern Africa, Australia and the C.I.S.

The objective of the G-TEC's is to provide prospective customers with access to Knelson's leading-edge technology, along with locally based expertise to assist with the evaluation process.

To date over 5,000 client samples have been tested and evaluated at Knelson G-TEC's worldwide.
