A Knelson Screen Hopper is a feed preparation device designed to integrate directly into the line of Knelson Concentrators and offer trouble free operation, minimal maintenance, and long screen life.

The Knelson Screen Hopper is constructed of rubber lined steel and features spray bars with urethane spray nozzles for sizing and washing, a ball valve for control of spray water, a unique optional feed by-pass system, polyurethane screen panel and optional automated or manual controls.

The Screen Hoppers use a sieve-bend static screen to process material up to 6mm in size. For effective screening, oversize material should be limited to 5% of the feed stream

All Knelson Screen Hoppers are supplied standard with a manual on/off ball valve for control of the screen wash water. For automated systems, this valve is replaced with either an electro-pneumatic or fully electric actuated ball or butterfly valve.

Models

The KC-SH series is available in four different models. The size range reflects the tonnage each model can handle when used with the Knelson Concentrator model indicated. See the chart below.

But it was interesting to learn where else in the world Knelson is being used." - Peter Martin, Sales Manager - Austextechflow, Australia ...more > >
