The KC-MD7.5 Knelson Concentrator has become widely accepted as the most simple and effective method of concentrating bulk samples into small amounts of highly enriched concentrates.

Primarily used in the processing of gold bearing samples, the KC-MD7.5 concentrator has also been successfully applied in heavy mineral research studies, environmental waste-treatment projects, small-scale production mining and as a means of significantly upgrading low-grade gold concentrates.

Equally suitable for field-testing of alluvial gravel or for in-mill stream sampling, the KC-MD7.5 concentrator produces results that can be accurately "scaled-up" to project production scale results.

Fully self-contained when fitted with the optional feed tray and vibrating screen package (or with the Knelson Prospecting Trailer) the KC-MD7.5 concentrator has become an integral part of mining and milling operations, exploration projects, gravity-based pilot plants and small scale mining operations all over the world. In addition, this concentrator provides an extremely effective method of fine tuning and monitoring the performance of larger Knelson Concentrators during commissioning.

The concentrator is backed by a full one-year parts and labour warranty and an extended two year warranty on the inner concentrate cone. When ordered with the optional stainless steel (SS) package, all critical wetted parts are of 303, 304 and 316 SS construction to resist deterioration in corrosive environments.

Similar to the complete line of Knelson Concentrators, the MD7.5" Knelson Concentrator offers unsurpassed free-gold recoveries, ease of use, proven reliability and efficient operation.

The KC-MD7.5 Knelson Concentrator offers:

  • 100% sanitation between samples
  • Wear resistant, long lasting polyurethane inner concentrate cone
  • Full portability
  • Accepts a wide range of feed sizes
  • Tolerates wide variations in slurry densities
  • Operation virtually unaffected by slimes and clays
  • Low water and power consumption
  • Quick and easy concentrate removal
  • High throughput
  • Low maintenance and operating costs

We have installed and used your Knelson CD12 anad CD20 concentrators to target free gold from jigs and flotation concentrates in the regrind circuit. The production from the gravity circuit accounted for up to 60% of the total production, with concentrate grades between 8,000 and 9,000 gr/ton. - Ruben Villanueva, Minas Arirahua - Peru ...more > >
