Knelson Gravity Solutions centre discharge semi-continuous (batch) Knelson Concentrator series (KC-CD) has become the industry standard for batch centrifugal concentrators and proven through countless hours of reliable trouble-free operation in hundreds of mines worldwide.

Mild-steel components make the Knelson CD series concentrator the popular choice and economic alternative of placer and hard-rock operators who do not require stainless-steel wetted components.

The Centre Discharge semi continuous Knelson Concentrator can be supplied with a manual control system or can be equipped to provide hands-free fully automated operation.

Advantages

Models

The Knelson CD series is available in four models. The CD10 and CD12 are suitable for primary concentration in low tonnage operations, for pilot scale test work and for the upgrading of gravity concentrates.

The CD20 and CD30 model centrifugal concentrators are suitable for production-scale operation typically in alluvial operations. The CD series can also be applied in hard rock mills which are considered low corrosion environments.

To determine which Knelson Concentrator is best suited to your needs by contacting a local Knelson representative or complete the online information / quote request form.

"In the mid 90's gravity circuits were still considered an add-on component by a lot of companies. In 1999, I fitted a spare 30 inch Knelson to a stream from the tailings screens and began pulling 10's of ounce per hour from a 20% stream. When asked why I wanted to retrofit a complete new gravity circuit to the plant and what would the payback be, I replied: You've just spent $M's of dollars getting the gold out of the mine and through the processing plant only to put it back in the ground. The project will pay itself back by the time you have signed the check and got yourself a cup of coffee." - Jon Price, Manager Processing - Sons of Gwalia, Australia ...more > >
