The semi-continuous (batch) Knelson Concentrator (KC) is available in a range of model sizes that will suit any hard rock or alluvial mining operation. Known for gold recovery, fine gold recovery and recovery of other precious metals, the Knelson concentrator is available for bench and pilot scale testwork up to full unit capacities. The complete range of semi-continuous centrifugal concentrators offers the most efficient and highest precious metal recovery performance in the industry.
Robust design and quality manufacturing ensures that every Knelson Concentrator will provide exceptional metallurgical performance, high unit availability and years of trouble-free service.
The semi-continuous Knelson Concentrator is primarily applied in the recovery of precious metals such as gold, silver and platinum group metals.
The Knelson Continuous Variable-Discharge (CVD) Concentrator was developed to address specific mineral recovery applications which are amenable to enhanced gravity separation but, due to comparatively high content of target mineral, are not practical for conventional batch concentration methods.
While CVD technology is suitable to selected precious metal recovery applications the technology is primarily utilized as a rougher concentrator used in the bulk recovery of various base metals and industrial minerals such as native copper, mercury, tantalite, cassiterite, chromite and scheelite.
Knelson offers a range of laboratory and testwork equipment. This equipment is utilized in metallurgical laboratories and universities around the world.
Ranging from lab scale concentrators and grinding mills to sample preparation equipment, all Knelson manufactured laboratory equipment must conform to the same strict quality standards that Knelson is recognized for throughout the mineral processing industry.
Both the batch-type and continuous-type Knelson Concentrator series can be configured with a wide variety of optional equipment to customize each centrifugal concentrator to meet customer specifications. These components include fully automated control systems, feed preparation equipment, concentrate upgrading systems, slurry pumps, compressors - everything required to complete any batch or continuous-type Knelson Concentrator installation.
“In addition to its high throughput capability, low water requirement and outstanding gold recovery, the Knelson has performed excellently in terms of availability and maintenance requirements”.
