Hi Tech Solution for Water & Wastewater Treatment
Back to WHAT'S NEW

May 22nd, 2002

ALABAMA, USA - Knelson's custom engineering and manufacturing division KEM, has just completed two projects for Hi-Tech Environmental; a high-profile global water and wastewater treatment manufacturer. The projects are major components of water and wastewater treatment plants in Tempe, Arizona and Lynden, Washington.

"Our improved productivity, efficiencies and low Canadian dollar gave us a competitive advantage for this type of project. We have become very successful building water treatment equipment for OEM's like Hi-Tech Environmental and will continue to do so" stated Paul Champagne, KEM representative.

The Hi-Tech Environmental projects consisted of two 65' clarifiers for the City of Lynden, Washington. Though this project had a very aggressive delivery date, KEM still built these clarifiers on-time and on- budget.

Two additional 80' clarifiers were built and shipped for Hi-Tech's Tempe Arizona project.

Hi Tech Environmental QC inspector, Dan Jackson stated "It's sure nice to see this kind of quality on a regular basis".

"This kind of quality workmanship is what we demand for our customers" concluded Ron Stephenson, Hi-Tech's purchasing agent.

Hi-Tech is an employee owned and operated corporation, with a focus on superior quality products and services for the water and wastewater industry. Hi-Tech Environmental has provided industrial water and wastewater solutions for companies such as Chrysler Corporation, Firestone, Quantum Chemical, ADM Pharmaceuticals, International Paper and numerous others. At the peak of production, the Knelson gold accounted for 30% of production, which accounted for 84 kg of gold. This was achieved through strict adherence to maintenance schedules as well as monitoring the quality of water that was used in the machines." - Sijabulis Muzite, Plant Superintendent - Ashanti Goldfields Zimbabwe Limited ...more > >
